Torero's house margarita comes in four sizes: regular, macho, grande, and gigante. Believe me, the gigante glass was terrifying to behold. I had a regular.
Torero's makes their own margarita mix and on first sip, it was sweet, and I feared too much so. Subsequent sips quickly allayed my fears as the sour citrus juices came to the forefront. By the time I was done with the glass, I was praying for more sweetness to balance them out. The drink had plenty of tequila but I'd recommend opting for a top shelf brand over the well offering to counter the mix better.
It was drinkable for me, but not a margarita that made me thirst for more.

Most of my posts on nightlife feature a specific cocktail that I’ve enjoyed rather than focusing on the atmosphere of the bar, club, or wine bar that I’m patronizing. Largely, that’s because I care more about what’s in my glass than I do what’s playing on the speakers. However, I am far more likely to enjoy neighborhood dive bars and wine bars than I am a club or anywhere with loud music. I’ll still give the latter a try, and if the beverages are inventive and fun, I’ll be back no matter the soundtrack!
