A black current tang quickly gives way to a pronounced presence of scorched sugar. It's warm milk comfortable—you don't want to stop the flavors with the threat of a new sip. There is a medium level of spice that concentrates when it gets a swish in the mouth. It's golden smooth with a nice smell of oak. Pleasant and fire cozy.
I’ve been wine tasting for years now, but I like to think I approach it from the average consumer’s perspective. I believe the average consumer can appreciate when a cabernet franc boasts deep flavors or that first effervescent sip of vinho verde conjures up delightful summertime memories. But more often than not, they just want an affordable glass of wine that tastes delicious while lounging by the TV.
