This very pretty drink has the perfect ratio of alcohol to sweetness. The freshly muddled kiwi and strawberry add much to the good quality of the vodka, and the taste is clean and full of tasty bites of pulp. Definitely worth a drink! My only complaint is that it should be another third to half as large per drink—it’s the right amount of ice for this elixir, but that ice doesn’t leave enough room for much else.

I always love a good caipirinha or caipiroska! I hadn’t heard of Piola before, but will have to visit! How was the food?
I’ll be posting on the food soon, hopefully tomorrow. It’s an Italian chain that just opened in the East Highway 54 development, just before the 15-501 and 54 interchange on the way to Chapel Hill.They were out of the cachaca when I was there, or I would have tried the caipirinha too!
